Good Afternoon all, With Christmas Day fast approaching, it has been a shorter week for the team but here are some of the things we have been up to over the past few days… We have been searching for outstanding suspects in the area and following up on investigations. We have dealt with three different suspects for various shop thefts, all of which have been charged and remanded to court. Our team have supported the policing operation, Silent Night for Christmas related night-time economy. Our PCSOs have joined in with residents at Braeburn House for an afternoon of carol singing and community engagement. Also, they had afternoon tea with the elderly residents of Braeburn House. PCSO’s have been doing foot and bicycle patrols in various locations around our neighbourhood. PCSOs have also been to the ‘4 Community Trust Hub’ on Hateley Heath and engaged with staff and pupils from an educational needs group. Crime prevention advice was given and the children enjoyed seeing officers in uniform. During the school half term for the Christmas holidays, our PCSOs have attended Yew Tree Community Centre and joined in at the Holidays Activities and Food (HAF) Programme to build trust and confidence in the police, engaging with young people. We hope you all have a great Christmas and a tasty Christmas dinner!
